Housekeeping Department
The Strand Tower Hotel has a dedicated housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests stay in cleanliness and comfort. The rooms are serviced daily. Guests who do not want to be disturbed should feel free to hang the provided sign on the door. They might be tempted to lounge in bed for longer, as all of the linen used throughout the hotel is made of quality cotton.
Pool
The pool deck on the second floor of the hotel provides guests with a lush oasis in the middle of Cape Town. From this peaceful vantage point, you will be looking out over the bustling city streets below. This area truly makes guests feel as if they are on holiday and it is also an exquisite location for drinks. So while you bask under the warm South African sun, enjoy a drink from our bar and just relax.
Gym and Sauna
A gym area, sauna and steam room with fabulous views of Table Mountain are located on the 17th and 18th floors of the Strand Tower Hotel. The gym is well equipped with a treadmill, bike, weights machine and wide selection of free weights. Watch the large screen TV and be inspired to work out with whatever is showing, be it sport, music or the latest news from top news channels. Alternatively, you can take the beautiful views over the city while you train. Want to freshen up before you leave? The gym has a shower and toilet. Towels are provided.
The sauna and steam room are located on the Strand Tower’s 18th floor. These newly installed features are an excellent treat for the body and mind, relaxing muscles and banishing all your worries to the outside world. Next to the sauna and steam rooms, there are sun loungers and a large screen TV to keep guests relaxed and entertained. The 18th floor is also equipped with two showers, a changing room and a toilet. Towels are provided.
